A graduate of Marie Victorin in 2007, Marilyne Baril pursued her education at the ESMM, graduating in 2010. Over the years Marilyne has received 3 scholarship from the Fondation de la Mode de Montreal and Fur Council of Canada. In 2009, she participated in an internship in Paris and in Toronto which helped to grow her expertise. Working in the Montreal fashion industry for the past 5 years, the young designer is launching a women’s outerwear collection in 2013. Marilyne Baril is an outerwear collection for working women who want to be chic and comfortable while exuding an air of sexiness. All of the coats are made in Quebec of the softest wools, leathers and furs. The sensuality and electric energy of the 70s is evident in the Spring-Summer 2014 collection. The cuts are bold and structured while still enhancing a woman’s silhouette.
